Acupuncture

Acupuncture is an ancient art involving the placement of fine needles into specific locations on the body in order to alleviate pain and treat a wide variety of illnesses. The stimulation of the needles promotes the body’s natural functions: to relieve pain, promote healing, improve disease resistance and support recovery.

Acupuncture can be used alongside conventional medicine, or as a sole treatment, where appropriate. When used in conjunction with conventional medicine, it can help to reduce a patient’s requirements for prescription drugs, so reducing any potential side effects of these medications. The needles used are single use, sterile, and well accepted by most animals.
